White Hatred

Please read and give me your opinions and comments below because i just don't understand.

I don't claim to know anything about Native Americans or Native American Culture.

There's just such unneeded hatred towards white people from Native Americans. They say that we came in and stole their land. Which i don't deny at all. At first the Europeans came in and claimed whatever land they landed on. The America's were a land of wealth and plentiful natural resources. Also in human nature, people think superior of themselves when the competition doesn't have the upper hand (Refined metals). Europeans came and Spread disease and were responsible for mass homicides of the Native American people. I'm going to say NA from now on, because Native American is a lot to type. It wasn't fair for Whites to do that. It wasn't fair or justifiable, but that was over 600 years ago. The first landing in America was 600 years ago (1415). The last epidemic of the native people were 300 years ago (Vaccinations). And the last large killing of NA people where 200 years ago (Settlement in California). That is more than 2 generations ago. I can understand some lingering resentment to in the older population of  NA's but for that older generation to teach and spread the hatred isn't just or fair. The children of people who are wronged shouldn't have ideals and opinions forced open them from their parents. The parents shouldn't force their experiences and opinions on their children. Their children should create their own opinions and ideas of things. Especially if its something as severe and negative as hatred and blatant racism like what you see in this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXZo3phy56E

My jaw was on the floor after I watched this video. I didn't know such resentment and racism still existed in such an open and welcoming society. I knew there was pockets of racism still in this country, but their seems to be a collective resentment to the White person from many other ethnicity's. Basically an opposite form of racism that we see in the Segregation era of this country. NA where one of the many groups of people whites segregated in this time period. And i was looking around on the internet and there's a basic consensus that whites think they're better then everyone else. But that isn't true. If i have ever seen Caucasian superiority it isn't in a rude way or demeaning way. NA posts i have seen have started off educational and interesting, then they go on a rant about how their ethnicity is so important and sacred to the history of this country. Where i don't see white people going around blabbing and ranting about on the internet about how their so high and superior then other ethnicity's. Or maybe not as blatantly. You would think since NA's were segregated they would understand what it feels like to be alienated but they still seem to pick apart everything the "white man" does.

I was reading another blog and they where talking about how the the Hipster trend uses head dresses and how it was rude. How the use of head dresses is inappropriate and insulting to the NA culture. But he not only went into how it was wrong, but then deluded himself into talking about how...

"By the sheer fact that you live in the United States you are benefiting from the history of genocide and continued colonialism of Native peoples. That land you’re standing on? Indian land. Taken illegally so your ancestor who came to the US could buy it and live off it, gaining valuable capital (both monetary and cultural) that passed down through the generations to you. Have I benefited as well, given I was raised in a white, suburban community? yes. absolutely. but by dismissing and minimizing the continued subordination and oppression of Natives in the US by donning your headdress, you are contributing to the culture of power that continues the cycle today"

Where he was talking about the how headdresses promote stereotyping of NA cultures and how headdresses have a lot of spiritual and cultural significance. But then almost randomly added this to it. Which wasn't needed for nothing more then to kick his enemy while he was down which is just rude and not needed. There's just so much pent up anger that the NA american people have against white people and it's been so long since we've truly affected there life styles. Right now they have every single right everyone else has they can live where ever they so please just like everyone else who is a United States citizen. Just the topic of social appropriation of anything involving NA culture is so touchy and i don't see the point in it. Or i just don't have all the information but that's just my opinions.

Are we ever truly alone?

I do not permit self pity ever. I don't care what your situation is, I don't believe in excuses and what is the point of wasting your time and my time. I've noticed that the most prevalent version of self pity is now declaring loneliness, especially in the younger generation. Some people say they do this just for attention and just to have someone to say "oh no your not alone, you have me". Which of course is attention seeking but even if their only motive was to get attention these people all have the same reason for doing so. They have enough self pity to publicly showcase it. But are we ever truly alone or are we just wallowing. Wallowing in our own deficiencies and screw- ups. But what does that do, make you feel even more depressed and alone. So why even go there in the first place, you shouldn't let yourself wallow. Because you could always choose to look in the bright side of things, but you choose to be cynical instead. You have made your own decisions and those decisions dictate if you do screw-up or if your going to do something positive with what your given. You chose weather you use it to your full advantage. If you don't, sucks to suck doesn't it. So if you choose to be cynical and depressed about everything life throws at you, go ahead. But please stop posting it on Facebook because no one cares and everyone could be wasting there time on much more important things.
Also how dare you say your alone in the first place. No one is every truly alone. Even if you do not have any family or friends. You are never truly alone. Passing people on the street you could effect them and that's all that matters. You are only truly alone when you have not effected any one, ever. If you where kept away from all human contact for your whole life then you could possibly say you where alone. But if you are sitting here right now, reading this you have interacted with people in your life. Meaning you aren't alone. You just existing, technically you could not be alone. If you never talked to anyone in your entire life you are still not alone. If you have ever made someone think about you even for the slightest of moments, you are not alone. So I'm sure everyone who is living, has had some sort of human contact, so I'm pretty sure your not alone, so please stop posting it on social media websites because it's a lie. You are only ever feeling alone because you have chosen not to look on the brighter side of the situation. Stop being so god damn self absorbed and stop pittying yourself for more then two seconds to realize this and maybe you won't feel so alone.

Is what we know real?

I was watching the History Channel and there was this show on and they where talking about history, as they do. While they showed an interlocking web the voice-over said that "History is usually taught in sequences, but in fact it is more like a web" and that got me thinking. So try to stay with me here. What I'm thinking is that the web, would be like a spiders web. Spiders webs are very intricate, but if you cut one part/piece of the web, the web is changed forever. The web would never be exactly the same as it was before. So if history is like a web per say, then if one thing was changed in that web, the web would never be the same. If one thing in our history did not happen, we would not be here, as we are today. Every single person on this planet would be a different person. If one person did not exist or one misstep was added to the time stream, we would all be messed up. Not just that one person, all of us because i'm going as far as to say we are all connected. Like the bible say's we are all connected, but in that context it means related by blood, but maybe it could be comprehended as we are all connected like the spider's web. I would go as far as to say that the world is one giant brain. With different working parts, connections between different things so we can become a high functioning person in society. But if one connection was not there, there could be major repercussions. It would effect your life highly.... Now take that concept and apply it to life on this planet compared to another planets. Everything we know on this planet is because there has been a specific set of circumstances that has led to conclusions. These conclusions to us made sense, so we've kept them all these years. But what if Newton wasn't born, or Albert Einstein? Would we know what we know today? Would it be the same material? I would think not because the web would have been altered. That web would have never been the same again. Would we have concluded gravity is what kept us on this earth? Would be have concluded what specifies life? The life we are living at this exact moment is so specific to our set of circumstances, how could we possibly apply what we "know" on this earth to another planet. Another planet that has a complete different set of circumstances, to led to a completely different set of  conclusions. How can we apply what we know as life to another planet, that could have a completely different definition of life. Scientist's ae only looking at the goldy lock zone for possible life, but only for our type of life. But what about other types of life? I'm sure they could live in harsher climates then our squishy carbon based life. I personally cannot even fathom applying what i have been taught to another galaxy our another universe. And further more i cannot say, for certain, anything about other universes at all. These "scientists" that come up with hypothesis' about other galaxies and possible life forms in them, it's all theoretical. Because in my dictionary, if you haven't seen it with your own eyes you shouldn't be spewing non-sense about what you don't know.

Book vs. Movie

Books are always better then the movie.
Plain and simple.
In your mind you can make the perfect scenarios. The perfect people saying exactly what the author writes and picturing your own perfect settings for all the characters to fluidly interact with.
And then the movie comes in, and it doesn't pair up to your fantasy.
It's never going to add up to your own fantasy. Your fantasy is always going to be better to you specifically, then anybody else's interpretation.
Especially after you've put countless of hours and all of your emotional attachment to this one character and then a director casts an imperfect actor to play the part of your beloved antagonist.
Also that's all a movie is. A movie is an interpretation and condensed  version of a novel. If the screen writer put all the internal dialogue and detail that a novelist can put into hundreds of pages. First of all that would be such a long movie and you would get extremely bored. Secondly if a screen writer could actually do that in a 2 hour and 30 minutes time period i applaud them.
But what really erks me is when people say the movie wasn't exactly like the book. Of course it wasn't exactly like the book. that's absolutely impossible if they want to make a profit. People need to understand this when they watch a movie. It is a completely different medium and interpretation and you shouldn't let that ruin the fact that it was a good movie in it's self. Or a completely shit movie depending on what your watching.

Education

So recently i went to go see the new movie based off the Orson Scott Card novel Enders Game. In this movie young children are taught to become strategical and tactical military masterminds. The military heads have become obsessed with the pursuit of the best and brightest children on this earth to be molded into high-tech warriors. There mission is to permanently eliminate the alien threat (buggers) that had nearly conquered the earth 50 years prior. So the education of these children is a really big thing in this world. When a child is born a monitor is embedded in the brain stem so the military can monitor the children as they mature and grow. Through this monitor they can see and hear everything that the children can see and hear. The generals in charge of this system nit pick all the children who they find worthy to increase there knowledge.  If a child is not picked to move on to the next school its a humongous deal to the student and the students family. The government even controls how many children ea. family has so they can easily monitor every single one of them and  if there where humongous amount of people to monitor they couldn't monitor them all. Also so every family has the same amount of chance to have one of their children become a great commander. But it all comes back to education.
In this process the children have an unlimited and structurally personalized information at their disposal. Ea. child is given a desk, this is a powerful computer, similar to a real-life tablet computers but specifically for learning. On this computer they were not allowed any outside distractions. They couldn't even email there family at some points. The games, the free time activities, everything in their battle school is focused around bettering themselves intellectually. But most importantly they have everything they want in the palm of there hands. They have interactive 3D models, holographic projections, and small concentrated classes with students who want to learn.
If we could transfer some of these basic building blocks to all schools. Maybe if we cared more about the education and the morals of the next generation before they become a nuisance to the society maybe we wouldn't have so much crime or poverty.  Maybe if we could try to make learning bearable for young children. If we only shell more into our education, we wouldn't need to shell so much into poverty and crime control. The children naturally want to learn. But the school system makes it very difficult for the children to pursue knowledge.

Gun Control

Guns don't kill people.
 People kill people.
But if we didn't have guns.
We wouldn't have this problem.
But we actually need guns to protect ourselves because without guns we would have no power.
Over our people and other countries.
But if we used them only for protection it would be great.
That isn't possible because people fear death, guns kill people, so people fear guns.
Guns mean power and in stupid hands guns mean massive death.
Which, no matter which way you look at it, means that there is going to be massive deaths.
There are going to be senseless killing because there are stupid people and the accessibility of getting a gun is so easy.
Think about this, for a second. What if they're was a way to tell the persons intentions truthfully before giving them a powerful weapon.
What if there was a way to make sure the person we are allowing to have a gun will not use it for wrong purposes?
The only way we could do this is probably drugging people or delving into there brains to pull out what they're actually thinking without lying.
This way we could tell if they are a psychopath or will ever have psychopathic tendencies.
So if our understanding of functional MRI's and the connection between the brain activity in a psychopath and the brain activity in a normal human being improve.
We could have people take an MRI before buying a gun, so we know that, the person we are giving power, is trustworthy.
We all know now that there's stupid people and i think this is the only way we could truly know if someone's going to go kill 21 children with a gun they bought at Walmart.
Where right now there are no re-precautions, except and id and a contract.
But that doesn't tell us anything about the trustworthiness of some human beings.
All that does is waste paper.
